Update, July 12:
Looks like the Audiobook is already live. I just received this message from a friend in the UK:
“Hello! ...I've got it from Audible!!! From tomorrow, I'm taking you for a drive, Southend to London and back, it will be like having you sitting next to me.. ☺️👏🏻👏🏻”
The launch tour for CROSSING THE LINE has begun with a fantastic pre-launch event hosted by the Fauntleroy and Alki UCCs in West Seattle and their Immigration Task Force. What a fantastic kick-off!
I offered three readings woven into an author talk on how we must do better — how we can welcome newcomers with dignity. How their hope knows no borders and our systemic, racialized cruelty is simply not okay.
The evening finished off with a fruitful Q&A with a packed and engaged audience. I couldn’t have asked for a better send-off!

Next up: West Seattle’s own C&P Coffee Company, June 12, 4-6 pm.
Official launch date: June 18, Medicine for Nightmares Bookstore and Gallery, San Francisco, 7-9 pm. RSVP HERE.
Meantime, I invite you to enjoy a short clip of the audiobook — see above — read by me and available wherever you buy your audiobooks. Hope you like it!
